About Aiden Hunt

Aiden Hunt is a neurodivergent writer, editor, poet and literary critic based in the Philadelphia, PA suburbs. He is the editor and creator of the Philly Poetry Chapbook Review, an online literary magazine dedicated to poetry chapbooks. His literary criticism has been published (or is forthcoming) in Another Chicago Magazine, Tupelo Quarterly, On the Seawall and Fugue.

While his current focus is literary criticism, Aiden is working on two long poetry projects: a collection of poems about memory inspired by parents’ aging and a long poem about life as a person with neurodivergent thinking.

Previously a freelance journalist, Aiden spent 2014 writing for niche websites and magazines. He founded a cannabis policy website in 2015, called MarijuanaPolicyNews.org, which ran for a year. After a break of several years, Aiden founded and ran Profiles in Legalization, a cannabis policy news site and the activist Cannabis Salvation Blog.

Profiles in Legalization was a series of profiles and articles about significant figures in U.S. cannabis legalization. LegalizationProfiles.org was also a cannabis policy site, featuring news from around the web and original reporting. The site was syndicated through contracts with Newstex and NewsBank as an authoritative source. It ran for two years.
